Today we started out leaving Billings before the sun was up. All we needed was a good cup of coffee and the open road. The sunrise was beautiful this morning.
We stopped for some fuel at Loves in Hardin, MT. Then back on the road before the wind advisory was to start in Montana. We fought the winds all the way from Sheridan, WY all the way to our lunch stop in Casper, WY.
We stopped for lunch at Hat Six Travel Center in Casper, WY.
After lunch we headed out to meet up with my Coach in Cheyenne, WY, but encountered high winds south of Wheatfield and parked it at a truck parking lot along I-25.
After a 3 hour delay due to high winds, we made our way the last 60 miles to Cheyenne to meet up with my Coach Ed. Thank You David for the lift and great conversation.

It was a pleasure giving Chris a ride from Missoula Montana to Cheyenne Wyoming to meet up with his trainer Ed. There's no doubt in my mind with the training Chris will get, and his knowledge and enthusiasm for trucking,Jim Palmer will have another safe courteous driver on the road in 3 months.
