After staying the night just off an exit north of Modesto, We headed north to join up with I-5 in Stockton. Once we got past Sacramento, We stopped at a Walmart in Willows in order for me to pick up a birthday gift for my granddaughter who turns 2 on Nov 5th.
Afterwards we headed up towards Lake Shasta and witnessed the aftermath of a fellow trucker that was going to fast and flipped onto his side. He was okay.
We then made it to a Rest Area North of Eugene for the night.
