Headed East to Missoula

After Coffee with my dad and his friends, we went for a last breakfast of sorts before I hit the 7 hour drive from Covington to Missoula Montana to become a OTR Trucker with Jim Palmer Trucking.

The drive over the Snoqualmie Pass was a little foggy with some freezing fog in places, but made it across safe and sound. Stopped in Moses Lake to pick up some sunglass clips as the sun was bothering my eyes. Afterwards it was on to Idaho and the Welcome Center. My family has stopped at this rest stop since I was 10 years old.

Afterwards I headed out eastbound towards Montana. There was no snow on the roads on 4th of July or Lookout passes. But the snow was to the edge of the roadway and made for a nice drive. I witnessed a Subaru almost take out a doe, just clipping it's hind leg. The Doe ran off and we all kept on our merry way like nothing happened.

I arrived in Missoula around 18:00 local time, checked into the hotel and set forth looking for food and a Walmart to get a few last minute items I forgot.

Good night from the road.

Keep on Truckn'
